Scouting

     Beginning scouting by joining Troop 101 of Banning in August of 2003 Robert began an adventure that will never end. Almost immediately after joining Robert made a goal of receiving all of the merit badges, at the time there was 120 offered. Currently he has 63.

     Robert is now active in three different kinds of unit including Boy Scout Troop 101, Venture Crew 800, and Order of the Arrow chapter A-tsa.

      Robert has held many leadership positions since he began scouting including assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, order of the arrow troop representative, bugler, senior patrol leader, troop guide, and chapter 1st vice. Robert continues to look for more leadership positions with goals such as crew vice-president of administration and chapter chief, and long term goals of becoming lodge chief.

     Robert has gone to numerous events including cedar badge, buckskin, foxfire, summer camp, Pop Nye, fall fellowship, conclave, National Order of the Arrow Conference, summer camp staff (canoeing instructor), 21st World Scout Jamboree(100th anniversary), and many other events.

     Robert represents scouting by bugling at numerous events and places including Riverside National Cemetery, American Legion California State Convention, West Coast Thunder, and other places. For more information please look at the bugling page, and the photos page.
