I would have to say, without any doubt that the Bugling merit badge has been the most influencal part of my scouting life. From being the bugler at summer camp, to vouluntering as a scout bugler at military funerals, bugling has taking me a lot of places and it can do the same for you. The shortage of live buglers leaves a wonderful place for scouts to answer the call. And it all starts with adding anouther dot to your sash. Begin by looking at the Bugling Merit Badge Requirements. I will glady give advice or answer any questions you may have, please visit the Contact Us page to field any comments/questions to us.
In order to better inform scouts on how they can volunteer as scouts we are in the process of researching what to put in this section, if you have any suggestions please let us know. Contact Us
I began bugling for military funerals as a scout volunteer at the age of 12 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Southern California. Having played for over 500 funerals I have seen things that can warm the heart, and bring tears to the eyes. Scout Buglers are a unsung part of scouting, if you have a story of your bugling experience that you would like heard please visit the story submission page to have your tale either posted in our blog or published in our upcoming book "Duty To Country: Scout Buglers"
Want to meet scouts from around the world? Further your knowledge of how vast a program scouting really is? Check out Scoutface (with your parents permission of course). Be sure to search for our group, EagleScoutBugler.

We are in the process of debating if scouts would find it benefitul to have a facebook group as a sort of blog/discussion area. Please let us know your opinions via our contact us page.
